Coopers Whisky Cabinets


Inspired by a love of single malt whiskiess and a great respect for the art of coopering (the making of barrels), this handed pair of wall hanging cabinets are made in solid Devon oak, with fluted, coopered doors, fluted panels and glass shelves with fine brass fittings. Yes, they come with the bottle of whisky!

Hand-dovetailed writing boxes can be made in any wood type. Shown here in "False Acacia" (Robinia pseudoacacia, also commonly known as the black locust), with one example in yew also pictured below. Shellac and wax finish. Lined with cedar of Lebanon.

St. Ann’s Writing Desk and Chair


An elegant writing desk with matching chair made in native brown oak with cedar of lebanon and plain quartersawn oak. The desktop is lined with Italian leather. The desk was commissioned by the Vicar of the Church of St. Ann for him to write his sermons on. The chair is made from solid brown oak and reflects the delicate shapes and curves in the desk and the shaped seat is very comfortable. The desk features 5 drawers - four smaller ones as part of the desk tidy and one large one which slides out from underneath the desk top.
